This stuff I bought at the warehouse sale totally rocks!
My lovely Asian hair refuses to hold curls for more than 4ish hours before completely straightening out again. The irony is that I think my hair is actually curly or wavey but only when wet (or moist, can never tell) and then miraculously become straight.
Anyways, the stuff I bought is called hot twist:curl iron styler from got2b. From the time I curled my hair at 11am-ish to when I got home at 2am-ish... still curly! Not perfect mind you, but with all the abuse I did to the curls, I'm not surprised. *g*
The best part is that it cost me only $3! Hee! Sugg. price is around $6 so I'm very happy. Might spend some more money I don't have to buy another one to tide me over 'til next year.
On the fandom side, I'm been abusing my forum membership. Haven't frequented as much as I like. Sorry everyone!
