Since I was bombarded by people begging for donations to help Haiti when I went for lunch and groceries in Chinatown (which totally freaked me out cuz they were EVERYWHERE T_T), so I checked my flist and found help_haiti.

Sadly, I'm too poor to bid but I might do so anyways.

I just want to say that Olivia Williams as Adele Dewitt is so totally HOT! *thud*

That and everyone should watch Riese. It's a fantasy/steampunk/sci-fi web series (which means it's 5-7 minutes long per ep).

Farscape Con in LA (Nov 6-8)

So Stargate con will be the same weekend at the same hotel. Is anyone going? I'd love to share a room (and my sanity) since I've never been to a con before and I figure it'll be cheaper (and safer).

I really want to go cuz it's the 10th anniversary of Farscape this November.

I just wrote something that's really emotionally charged (at least for me it was).

Wow. That felt really good.

I really should do more writing and get back into acting. Or take some acting classes. After all, I need to improve my skills.

Since it seems that everyone is moving to Dreamwidth, I have made an account. >.> I wiiiill folllowz jooooo...

Anyways, it looks kewl and whatnot. I am, however, miffed that 1) I can't make custom mood themes like I did in LJ (then again, my LJ mood theme is/was a hack) and 2) I have to make a new theme, if it's even possible.

I will not buy an account unless I have a steady job with an annual salary. So, yeah.

WTF? Do House writers NOT do research?

ARGH! I'm so frakking peeved at House. I'm only watching for character development since the stories suck.

OK, so how does a deaf person who has never heard sound since the age of 4 and has had no speech training or any training with a cochlear implant and yet can separate noises and words and can magically speak somewhat coherent words? That takes months if not years. And at his age, it probably would take years.

While it is totally House to have him give someone a cochlear implant, it's horrific that the writers are making it seem like a magic cure for deafness even if they're taking into account Deaf culture and attitude about cochlear implants.



Oh, psssh... there's no spoilers. I could rant about the spoilers too but I'm not.
